1991-2016
SUCCESS FROM THE START

In 1991, Gregg Ireland founded Metro Baseball Academy (MBA), offering players and families unique opportunities to compete nationwide. Over the years, MBA expanded, adding an indoor facility and attracting top-tier coaches. Following Gregg's passing in 2006, his son y took the reins, maintaining the Academy's success with community support. In 2010, he relocated MBA to Clackamas, overseeing operations, coaching, and instruction. In 2016, he passed the torch to 503 Baseball.

2017-2021
503 BASEBALL ACADEMY FOUNDED

503 Baseball Academy has prioritized player development across all ages and skill levels since its inception. Our tailored training programs cater to individual needs, whether for newcomers to the game or seasoned college and professional players. Our instructors utilize slow-motion and video analysis to pinpoint precise aspects of a player's swing or throwing mechanics. We firmly believe that any instructor who doesn't utilize video analysis is inefficient. The naked eye often overlooks critical details in mechanics. By dissecting videos and comparing them to professional players, we ensure players learn the proper sequencing for their swing or pitching technique.
