Youth Arm Care

This training will provide players with the knowledge and ability to properly and safely build arm strength thus minimizing injuries. This training is ESSENTIAL for any youth players looking to increase velocity for all positions.

We continue to receive a lot of interest in teaching younger players how to properly take care of their arms while increasing arm strength which will result in players throwing harder, safely. This training will build up arm strength for more future advanced classes. Arm care is one of the most important aspects for a baseball players health and success. This class will include band work, plyo ball routines, med ball core workouts, shoulder stabilization drills, long toss progressions, and much more.

Training Overview:

  1. Teach players how to properly warm up prior to throwing
  2. Instruct on proper drills for Jaeger Arm Bands prior to throwing
  3. Light 5 lb. dumb bell wrist weight drills
  4. Weighted balls program. Lighter weights adjusted based on strength of player
  5. Long Toss and proper technique for practices and games
  6. Post arm Care
  7. Instruction on proper use of PlyoCare training

In summary, players will learn to properly take care of their arms safely while building strength, flexibility, and arm speed.

Training will be conducted every Tuesdays and Saturdays for 60 minutes each training Day.
