Short answers to the questions families ask most before a first session. If yours isn’t here, call 503-703-4778 or send us a message.
No. Our cages are used for coached lessons and training sessions rather than open rental, so we don’t sell cage time by the hour. Everything in the building — the hitting cages, the pitching mounds, the turf and the strength room — is used with an instructor.
If what you’re after is hitting work, that’s exactly what our private and small-group hitting sessions are for: swing analysis, bat path and connection drills with a coach watching.
Youth through high school. Group programs are organized into age brackets, and private lessons are matched to the player rather than to a fixed age. If you’re not sure whether your athlete is ready, call and ask — we would rather tell you honestly than sell you a lesson too early.
Both. Softball is half our name and not an afterthought: we have instructors who specialize in softball pitching and catching, and we run a club softball team. You can see the full staff on the instructors page.
Yes, and it’s one of the real advantages of training here. The entire facility is indoors — 4,000 square feet of turf, cages, mounds and strength equipment — so lessons, clinics and strength work carry on through the wet months instead of stopping when the fields close.
Yes. Drop-in clinics exist for exactly that — small groups, no season-long commitment. They are a straightforward way to see whether the coaching is a fit for your player before you book anything longer.
Yes — teams, leagues and organizations across the Portland metro, either at our Milwaukie facility or at your own site. The consultation form is the place to start; tell us what your group needs and we will come back to you.
